Maxo mosquito Repelleant

Client & Project Objective

 Kanchize Design Studio partnered with Maxo by Jyothy Labs to rebrand and redesign their mosquito repellent packaging. The goal: elevate shelf impact, communicate advanced technology and maximize consumer trust for family protection in India’s competitive FMCG category.​

Our Creative Solution

Concept: 

  • The extended “x” in the Maxo logo spells “max protection,” while vibrant orange arrows convey swift attack mode and effectiveness.

Colour strategy:

  • High‑contrast orange energises the pack, ensures standout shelf‑throw and visually signals spontaneity and zest.

Emotional connection:

  •  A warm family image reinforces trust and protection, while the encircling protective line with a “dead” mosquito graphic (electrocuted spark) dramatizes effectiveness.

Visual impact:

  • Dynamic background lines and extended X‑arrows lend power and movement to the pack.


Innovation in packaging:

  • A refill‑bottle shaped window retains category cues, showcases the real product, and makes the pack instantly recognizable.


Mast head:

  • New mast head design signals advanced technology and product evolution.


Impact & Results
The redesign delivered a bold brand transformation. On‑shelf recall improved, consumer engagement rose significantly, and Maxo’s brand perception shifted to one of premium, tech‑forward family protection.
