Starlight Charm, Captured in a Pack

Unilever partnered with Kanchize Design Studio to launch Pond’s Starlight, a talc variant crafted for confident, expressive young women. The brief called for a packaging design that signals freshness and femininity, while standing apart from the core range through a bold new visual personality.

Our Creative Solution

Concept

  • Built the idea of Starlight around radiance, confidence, and individuality

  • The name starlight was strategically crafted to indicate stardom and luxury fragrance 

Design Language

  • Introduced a vibrant starburst-inspired floral motif to cue freshness and charm.

Colour Strategy

  • Selected a striking Red gold base with playful glow and radiant accents for shelf impact

Typography & Details

  •  Used clean, elegant fonts paired with metallic details to signal modern femininity
     

Impact & Results
The new packaging struck a balance between freshness and flair—creating a strong visual identity for Starlight. It helped boost consumer interest, aided variant recognition, and enhanced shelf standout in a saturated talc segment—strengthening Pond’s premium presence.
